15 Weeks til Christmas Scarf Along

Here is my scarf for this weekend. I didn't do the Biker Chick pattern after all. It just didn't look right with any of the yarns picked out from my stash. Instead...

 

 

I found 2 balls of Allegro (ladder-type yarn) and then went searching for a pattern. I got my inspiration from the Fringed Fabulous Scarf pattern. My yarn was heavier than what the pattern called for, so I changed the hook size to N and only used one strand of yarn for the fringe. I also tied the fringe as opposed to 'hook & looping' it on.

It's been nuts at work, so I haven't made much progress lately. But I've got the next week off to go bezerk, so I'll be posting more soon!

Mini, great scarf! The yarn is perfect for the pattern. I can never come up with the right thing to make with ladder yarns, so I never buy any...

 

Here is my next one. I used Jo-Ann sensations Angel Hair and Beautiful yarns, which made the scarf baby-bunny soft:
