Was going through my copy too. Saw both of the above items and I am also thinking of ordering that sock monkey book too It's just nostalgia for me...I can remember having one of those...my sister too. That would sure surprise her.

 

But the real surprise for me was on page 37!!...Carol Alexander's new crochet book from House of White Birches. Wood hooks in a clear vase on the front cover and there's a BrainsBarn hook staring at me...can 't miss it because of the Swarovski crystal bead "in the middle".

That's from her own collection as the rest of them must be...

 

By the way...that's a great way to display your wooden hooks. We use that same display at local shows. I just add some rice in the bottom to protect the hook ends.
