Ugly hat

I need a pattern for an "ugly hat" I need something distinctive so that people don't walk away with my hats. Yes, it has happened.

 

So, ugly or just plain strange is fine. But it needs to be adult size.

Have you tried making it bright orange, yellow, green or some other funky color? Maybe camo yarn....

A basic dc hat would probably work....

That bottom one is one of my favorites to make! I've sent several of them to the Cancer Institute for the kids. It's not unusual - it's adorable! (and the rest are nice too! - I'm going to have to try that second one!)

Please let me be perfectly CLEAR that I DO NOT consider ANY of these hats "UGLY", on the contrary....I think they are special and out of the ordinary!I found them all in less than a half hour searching, and I am sure that there are many more like them!

I guess I shouldn't have said "ugly" when I should have said "distinctive" and "stuff no one has ever seen before on a living human" or "something that if someone takes it, everyone will know it's mine and the villagers would beat them and take the hat and give it back to me the rightful owner" - type hats.

 

I love all the listed hats, but I think I'll start with the Flying Spaghetti Monster hat!

Those hats are really great...I believe whether its ugly or not if someone is going to take your hat...they will take the hat..lol...Good Luck!
