Solar Dying..

Tried LB Fisherman wool and Sun tea jug..

Used some vinegar, 7 packages of Jamaica Flavor-aid,filled it up with hot tap water.. Full hot TX sun all day.. Nuked it for 2 minutes to make sure that it was heat set..( was clear when I brought it in.)

Great color. Now do you have to wash it before using it? I have never used home dyed yarn, I would worry that the color would come off on my hands.

No need to wash.. It was heat set..Won't come off on your hands.

Will bleed some cos' it's red, when I felt it...
