I'm thinking of making this in Patons Divine, but I haven't worked with that yarn yet, do you think it will turn out okay? And secondly, I'm also thinking of designing a poncho for myself with one of these attached; is it okay with you if I attach your pattern to my pattern? I'll post the pattern here when I finish it. :thinking1

It's true! Great minds do think alike! ! I've been wrestling with the idea of the poncho with the wimple attached but I keep getting distracted and end up somewhere else. Sure, go ahead and use it. The wimple is just a crocheted tube. I'd love :pump to see your pattern when you get finished.

Thanks Rebeccav for the offer!! I'll take you up on that to be sure my instructions can be read and understood by people other than me!! I'm going to make up a child's size 2-4 first for my toddler, then work it up in sizes from there. I'd love to have it sized all the way to a 2X. Anyway, I've got to finish one of Dot's ponytail hats for my little cousin, then a scrap poncho (another of my designs) then i can start on the wimple/poncho. But I do intend on having it done by the end of the month for my 2 yr old's birthday so it won't be too long to wait!! It's gonna be tested using RH yarns probably....lol, budget''s too tight just to "test" out a design in anything else!! Oh well, I can't wait, it's gonna be so much fun!!!!!!!!!

Hey Rebecca, the wimple measures 13"x15" inches, that makes the beginning chain 26". Hope this helps.
