Ribbon Yarn Easy Shawl

I purchased a ribbon yarn called "Midas " to make a knitted shawl. After struggling with the pattern, I switched to a simple crochet pattern instead, using the "offset filet network" pattern in the Harmony guide. I used 4 balls to make a 24" x 80" shawl and a 7 mm hook (size K) The color (metallic) I used was black with a tinge of gold, silver and light blue. Buy it on sale as it is not cheap!

Very pretty shawl. I made one with ribbon yarn - used the love knot stitch. They really are elegant but pricy.
