Crochet! New Technique for joining edges

In the May 2006 issue, they show a new way to join edges together. They even give you an example pattern to follow so that you can see how it is done.

 

You use a tunisian hook and go through both layers and do a basic row of tunisian stitches by putting yarn on the hook and then taking it off. I am going to try it. It looks like it lays flatter and has a better appearance than using whip stitches like I usually do.

 

I'll be working on the sample tonight. It looks like a winning idea to me.

Plus, there are a lot of pretty spring projects to get busy with.
