Another Mystery Stitch

This isn't a sc. It's made like two sc together, or a dc without the first yo. My mom uses it all the time and doesn't know what it is either. An old magazine had this baby bonnet pattern in it and described the stitch only as "fancy stitch" and gave the instructions for it. Anyone know if it has another name?

Thank you, but that's not it. This doesn't have a yo at the beginning. It's like a sc with the two loops left on the hook then draw the yarn through the two loops. It's done like a dc without the first yo.

yes thats what it is called i remember that cos i thought i had found a new stitch and then saw the extended dc somewhere :laughing

I really like this stitch...I am using it in blo with shetland chunky yarn for mens' slippers and I am loving the way they are coming out.
