1st spun yarn!

Last weekend I went to a spinning class at a folk school up in the NC mountains, and this is what I came back with! My very own spun yarn! It's not great, but I like it. One skein was spun on a drop spindle, the other on a wheel. Don't remember which is which. Now I just need to practice. . .anyone want to buy me a spinning wheel?

Thats fantastic for your first skein CONGRATULATIONS! You should be very proud there is nothing like completing your first skein. You should make something special with it as a keepsake or just keep it in an album to look back on in a little while when you are teaching someone else the noble art yourself.Believe me you will !
