I haven't figured out how to best store cones of cotton to take up the least amount of space.

I have one in the utility room that's 5 drawer but dh has taken over about 3 drawers.  I have cotton balls and cones in 2 drawers.  That's my easy access cotton.  Creative Grandma on utube has a video on her trip to Lowes looking at storage organizer options.  The cube style and bins is another option for yarn, probably not so much for cones.  Most are less than 12x12
