Daisy dress

Hi. I’m fairly new at crocheting. I’ve made a bunch of daisies and would love to turn them into a dress or skirt like the photo in the url below, but can’t figure out the pattern to join them. Can anyone help with suggestions? https://www.bohoasis.com/products/handmade-daisy-crochet-dress

Hi JulieC123, welcome to the ville!

This is not a beginner project.  I'm not saying that it is impossible; I was a fearless teenager and improvised as a new crocheter, but I already been sewing some of my own school clothes since the age of 10 so garment construction in general was not foreign to me, so I had a general concept of would would likely work or not.  Be prepared for a lot of ripping and back to the drawing board-ing.

If you notice, the motifs are not the same size; about the best you can expect to end up with for a garment with motifs all the same size would be a T-shirt top, robe (swimsuit cover-up?) or muumuu dress, so this pattern will likely not work with whatever you have made so far. 

Or,      a shawl might be a good 'save' for the daisies you've made, to end up with a reasonable end item (actually, shawls were big when I learned  to crochet, and one of my first projects was a shawl I made from flower motifs that were originally from a vintage book of bedspreads and tablecloths). 

Sorry to be a Negative Nelly, but for a beginner crocheter, following patterns for a garment is the way to go.

Edited to add - how you attach the daisies to each other would be a different answer depending on how you made the daisies.  You are learning a lot of 'how not to' from this project I'm afraid.

If you just looking for methods to join your daisies here are a couple.  You are going to have to figure out how to join and arrange everything to get shape and fit.

OMG, flower looms, that takes me back.  I still have mine (from circa 1970); didn't do much with it except make a bunch of them in different colors, to pin one on a crocheted hat to go with my outfit that day.

I think I still have my mom's set.  Cant remember if I got rid of them when I moved.  I never used them but mom made some placemats.
