Hello, I'm new here, but not new to Crocheting & some Knitting I learned in High School.  

I have made a few blanket's, some of them get finished some don't. I like to Crochet more then Knitting.

hello, I'm glad you like my idea and I'm ok with sharing my idea it my help someone else. If anyone needs more pictures I can post them. 

I did a lot of research looking for something that would hold a big 14 oz. skein of yarn.  Sometimes I just put a skein of yarn in the box and work away if it gets to the point of getting knotted up I will put it on the reel 

It has helped me a lot for when I'm working on my crocheting project and I found a mistake and to fix the problem I have something to put my yarn on instead of on the floor. 

I found someone that made toy boxes and asked them to put a 4 inch hole on both sides of the box for the pvc sewer pipe that holds the 100 foot cord storage reels,  I had to break off the black center thing in order for this to work, it can be difficult to get it broke of it's real hard plastic.  

I did use sandpaper to smooth out some rough places on the reel so my yarn didn't snag.
