I am looking for the pattern for Button Buddies that was in printed in Annie's Crochet Newsletter #1 Jan- Feb 1983.

Is that anything like a button monster  ? It's a little  monster with a "button" hole in the middle. You make a ch 6 (8) ring, make 5 "arms" in the ring. Then you fold 1 arm over and sew it down for a head and add eyes. You wear it like a "pin" by attaching it to a button on your shirt/sweater. I don't remember where I got the pattern (35 +/- yrs ago), but I think I can still make them.

The pattern I'm looking for included a mouse, a bear and 2 others. yes they fit over a button but these had round heads an legs.
