Blanket help needed

I am making an easy blanket, all dc.  It's buckling and I don't know why and how to fix it.

Any help would be great.

If it seems to be getting wider from the very begginning, you may have made the foundation chain too tight, or you may be accidentally adding stitches. What exactly do you mean by buckling?

My first suggestion is always to check the stitch count.  Do you have the same number of stitches in your current row as the first?

Welcome to the 'ville, BubbieJanet.  Is this a blanket in the round, perchance? Buckling (not sure if you mean sort of making a bubble, which is called cupping, or ruffling at the edges - 2 common 'in the round' issues with opposite solutions, and often has to do with stitch height.

It it is buckling=ruffling while working a flat rectangle in rows, I agree with Selind - you may have mis-executed the pattern directions, or the directions have a bug.
