Yarn help.

Plo0t

Question

OK! I NEED YOUR HELP YOU ADVANCED MOTHERS(and fathers) OF CROCHET!

I have this idea for a crocheted top. If I can pull it off, omg, I'll be rich from it.

I think I have the basic jist of how to create it. My only problem is that I'm not sure what type of yarn to use. I would like to finished product to have a thin but not too thin appearance. Nothing bulky. And I would like it to have some stretch, as I'd like the finished product to be form-fitting. And of course, it'd have to be incredibly soft.

Help please?

I'm using Paton's Katrina for a tank top (using the Sherbert Tank Top pattern posted on this site - you can find by doing a search for it).

It's really soft, fairly thin (though worsted weight) and very stretchy.

It's hard to know when we don't know anything about the product, but this yarn is very soft, and is machine washable. http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/yarn_display.aspx?itemid=5420122

That sample they have done in the picture looks very similar to what I'd like to accomplish! And that yarn is cheap!

Thanks a bunch!
