square diamond granny/kaleidoscope

SolusUmbra

Question

I managed to fumble my way past the first set of triangles but now I'm stuck on the next set. I know how many rounds of each color I need to do to reach my corner but I can't figure out how many stitches in between I need to skip. I have looked at everything I can find online but nothing seems to match up/ work for me.

4 rows of white, 3 rows of cream, 3 rows of light blue, 3 rows of dark blue To reach my corner

Not sure what you mean by how many stitches in between you need to skip.

Is this the pattern? Her video seems pretty good.

Here is a link to someone's project page on Ravelry which might help.  She has some good photos.   Its free to join

The original pattern belongs to Spider Fiber, which is the link bgs supplied above in her response. If you haven't reviewed all his videos on this pattern, this is the link to Part 2 for approximately the area you are at according to your photo for further help. If you are using a revised pattern from someone else, please make note which one it is. 🙂

Well looks like it might boil down to math.  You only have a certain number of spaces to work into which is going to determine the number of rows you will have.  From that you can decide how many colors to use and how many rows of each color to use but that total number of rows will have to equal the number of rows that you actually have the space to work into.
