Question
darski
for the life of me I cannot figure out what they want on this stitch
Using color3, dcbp from a standing start....yoh twice,
insert hook from the back into the sp between two pairs of dc
and then through the space at the other side of the pair out to
the back again, yoh and pull a loop through both sps (3 loops
on hook), yoh and pull through 2 loops on hook, yoh and pull
through last 2 loops on hook, creating the dcbp around the
first pair of dc of round 2, *ch2, dcbp around next pair of dc,
ch2, dcbp around next pair of dc, ch3 (forms a corner), dcbp
around next pair of dc, rep from * 4 times more omitting
last dcbp and finishing with ch3, sl st in top of first dcbp to
complete, fasten off. [5 corner sps, 2 sps on each side]
for the sake of argument we will assume that a 'dcbp is actually a BPdc or back post double crochet. that being the case why do they want you to yo twice before starting the stitch--- and then starting with a loop on your hook, you add 2 (yo) then you pull through a loop but somehow you still only have 3 loops. barring any understanding of what they have written can anyone tell me what they actually want done - I can do it if I know what they intend. Totally lost
