Question for all of you lovely hookers that write and sell your own patterns! I just finished writing my first one and was wondering what are the steps I need to take to insure I have a good written pattern that I can sell?

I don't write patterns, but I think the next step is getting testers. The normal compensation for testing is a copy of the finished pattern.

Also, make sure that your pattern is written in standard terms. The Yarn Council has a copy of the standards on their website. I'd include the link, but I'm on my phone & haven't figured out linking from it.
