Great "sewn" tote

This isn't crocheted...but it could hold a heaping load of crochet in it. I love this pattern. It is so easy to sew and holds a HUGE amount of yarn. Perfect for those big projects. the pocket in the lining is great for holding hooks, measuring tape, etc.

Could you make a crochet version? it looks like an extra large pumpkin bag. I don't know what name you call them there except totes.

That looks very similar to Natalie's econo-shopper! I hadn't thought about making one out of fabric but that would work and I can well imagine it could hold a ton!!

I am sure it could be made with yarn if you really wanted to. It is basically just a large square...in this case about 45 inches. then you could fold over the edges and thread the handles through. The sides and pulled in with elastic, otherwise they would gape open. I think it would be kind of heavy made of yarn...but only my opinion.
