Anyone use fabric labels?

I've been looking at "Made by Grandma" fabric labels to sew on the items I make for my granddaughter and grandson.  Does anyone use these, are the flat ones or folding ones best and is there a good way to attach these to your articles?  I have a sewing machine.

I'd sew it on by hand, with thread (blanket stitch would look nice), and not at the back of the neck if it's a garment.  If you hand sew, you can do it in such a way that it doesn't show on the other side.
