A pattern made with sewing thread and Elisa thread size 20

This pattern is from the September CAL (crochet-a-long) of the group "Threadies" which I have made with Gütermann sewing thread in light yellow and also with Elisa thread size 20 in yellow. The measurement of the sewing thread doily is 13,7 cm (5,3 inch) in diameter, whilst the Elisa thread size 20 measures 30,4 cm (12 inch). Here they are:

Using sewing thread..... you do like to punish yourself!!!  Beautiful work

Was there much adjusting when using the sewing thread... I mean did you have to reduce or add chains to get the pattern correct?  I can't fathom that the instructions would work for both thread types. Perhaps the hook size can make that adjustment???

Madam, it is not necessary to adjust anything to the pattern when I use sewing thread. I also use the finest hook available, which is size 0,35 mm, for my sewing thread projects.
