Thanks for the compliment.  I don't know what vintage this book is, it cost 25 cents and has those ruffly pansy doilies in it  The pattern skirt is fuller than mine, and I had to make the jacket and hat smaller.  The old dolls had more hair and may have been chubbier.  I was aiming for a lady instead of a child.

Yeah I could picture her as one of my teachers.  It is amazing how we have to change patterns, as the newer dolls are smaller.
