I just finished a thread size 80 doily

I bought some thread size 80 (DMC) in a wool shop yesterday. I started on this doily last night and I finished it this morning. The size of the doily after pinning and starching is 21cm (8,2 inch) and it has 22 rows. The stitches used were ch, dc, tr and ss. I used the usual Hoffmanns liquid starch but instead of adding a little water I made the mixture 50:50. This doily is so delicate that I consider to but it behind glass. You are right, the picture doesn't justice it.

In the meantime I have finished another doily with 32 rows in this fine thread.

I will post it tomorrow after it comes off my pinning board.
