curling

I am currently working on a project that the bottom edge of the project is curling. It's not curling bad but it is curling. The whole project is being done in SC. My question is that is this normal? Is there anything I can do about this? Will is curling eventually stop or will it get worse over time?

I think it is pretty normal for sc.

I experience this curling experience also with Tunisian Crochet. It could be your tension is very tight, thus, making the edges curl. You will more than likely see it relax after putting your border on if you are using a stitch other than sc and more than one round. Try making a swatch about 5-6- inches square with your chosen border might help to see what it will look like.

You can turn it the opposite way of the curl, upside-down and work a fpsc across the bottom.  That'll take the curl out.

The border usually takes care of that.
