Child's Hat Trimmed with Fun Fur :)

This is a hat I completed in one day for my five year old niece! I tried fun fur trim with it...and it's a good thing I used a big hook so I could feel the stitches...wow is that stuff tough!

Excuse the fact that it looks mishappen, I had to photograph it over the vaccum handle.

Hope you like, it's my second finished project! So far hats seem to be the thing I complete haha!

Love the variegated colors and the blue trim on the hat. I made a skull cap using variegated red and added a white trim but did not look as good as yours. What stitch and how many did you use for the trim?

The hat is basically Double Crochet, with three rows of SC near the brim. For the "Fun" Fur I did a basic SC around the brim, then came back and did one more SC row on the Fun Fur itself..boy was that fun...lol

That turned out great! I love varigated yarns too. I started out with making hats myself and worked with the camo yarn a lot. I also started out with fun fur (I made those fun fur flip flops) but I never thought to put the two together.
