FCEC Newsboy Cap - Anyone Made it?

Well I did! I followed the directions just as written for the size L (22") and it came out huge! Like 3-4 inches too big. It falls down over my eyes. And yes, I used the correct hook size, "I". Just wondering if anyone else has tried this pattern and how it turned out for them?

 

P.S. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, and other than it being waaaaay too big, it is very cute. I washed it and threw it in the dryer hoping it will shrink but I don't think it is going too. Anyone have a 25"-26" size head????

No, I think you can only find the pattern in the current issue of Family Circle Easy Crochet.

I was planning to try it, but not until next month or so. . . swamped with other stuff. . . but I finally found the Family Circle Easy Crochet mag at CVS Drugstore, of all places! My lys and Border's didn't have it.

Trying it next month also. I have 6 projects going right now and I just can't start another one. Thanks for the tip though. I'll start with the small size and go from there. Let you know how it came out when I'm done.
