Addi Swing hooks

Ok, so I have read all I can on these hooks and I still don't know if they would work for me.

Does anyone own them?

Are they heavier then a regular hook?

How do you hold your hook I'm looking at the side view and wonder if it would be comfortable for me who holds a hook like a pencil?

I love mine, have almost all of the sizes. They are a little heavier but but comfortable to use.

Just got one yesterday; a size H, which is the size I pretty much use exclusively. I like the feel of the handle, but not sure I am going to enjoy the hook itself. I am a Bates hook person, and this hook is like a Boye hook.

No, it's shaped for a knife hold. I guess you could use it in a pencil grip but I just can't really imagine how.

 

I tried them. They're not quite right for the shape of my hand or the way I hold my hook. I found them uncomfortable but I know people who think they are the most wonderful hook ever made. It's a personal preference.

 

If you want to try one - go for it. Just make sure you order it from somewhere that has a good return policy if you don't like it.
