yarn online?

I don't have a locally owned yarn store nearby, and AC Moore and Rag Shop have a nice selection of novelty yarns, but seem to have a very limited selection of colors in plain old Red Heart or Caron yarns. As a general rule, I prefer to purchase from family owned companies rather than large corporations. Anybody know of anyplace I can get decent, inexpensive yarn online? Thanks!!

I love shopping at Knitting Warehouse. They have a wonderful selection of the regular yarns at great prices and I love the single rate shipping regardless of how much you buy.

I agree about Knitting Warehouse. They carry Red Heart, Caron, Bernat, etc at good prices & they ship quickly compared to a lot of the others.

Someone mentioned smiley's yarns to me in a post that I made. I think they only have internet sales once a month, only ship to the lower 48 states, and you have to order $30 worth at a time BUT they have some super deals when they do.

 

I bought a bunch of Wendy's Peter Pan yarn for 2.50 a skein. Thats a super price compared to some of the LYS Ive seen.
