Need Suggestions

Recommended Posts

Check out this website - http://www.chezcrochet.com/. There are tutorials online plus there is a book you can purchase. Arnie is an expert in the field. Kim Guzman is as well.

Personally, I learned everything I needed to know from online tutorials and didn't need an actual book. If you do an internet search for Tunisian Crochet, you'd be surprised at the number of things that pop up. Good luck!

One of my resolutions is to learn Tunisian. Any ideas on a book that is CLEAR and easy to learn from?

Thanks!!

Sally

I have a YouTube channel page where I've set out all of my Tunisian crochet videos in my preferred teaching order.

And, for lots of Tunisian crochet information, I have set out an individual page on my blog.

And, of course, I regularly teach Tunisian classes here on Crochetville. :hook

Hope that helps!

Thanks to all and especially Kim-I am anxious to learn the Tunisian. I have tried it before without success. I just looked briefly at your site but it looks clear and hopefully I will "get it" this time.

Just keep telling yourself that it's single crochet, worked assembly-line style. Use a bigger hook than you would normally. And, don't sweat the curling. The curling tends to make people think they're doing something wrong. Once you have several stitches mastered, you'll be able to use the non-curling stitches to combat the curling that occurs (just like in hand knitting).
