Men's winter hat with chunky yarn

Hello all.

 

I'm looking to make my dad a hat for Christmas and want to use a different pattern this year. Looking for a simple winter hat, but not in the beanie style. I have a 2 skeins of chunky LB Wool Ease (I think thats what it is). Something that isn't too open of a weave.

 

I'm having a heck of a time finding such a pattern! Can any of you ladies help?:snow

Thank you for the link Empress Busy Bee, and I'm looking through the patterns. However, I'm hoping for patterns that folks here have used and liked. And that use chunky yarn (its hard to find, I think!).

I would still look at ravelry..on the left you can choose your yarn weight. Look at patterns and see if people have posted their projects and what their comments are too!
