Where to Buy a Buckle

I want to make this beautiful hat found in Crochet Today:

I went to two of my local craft stores and I couldn't find a buckle even close to what I needed. Where do you go to look for extras like this? Even better, does anyone know of a store online that sells this type of thing?

I'd look in the button or notions section of a fabric store like Joanne's or Hancock fabrics.

I'm not a hat person, but I do like that one.

Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's websites both have some buckles. Not the exact one, but you may find one that suits you.

 

Or do a google search. You may find a lot of sewing/craft places that carry buckles.

You might want to check out the aisles of your local Good Will...you might find a buckle you like on a belt or an article of clothing.

if thrift stores don't have anything (clothes, belts, etc can be a great way to get some of those embellishments) try the jewelry and beads section of craft stores.
