These "paper" chains are recyclable! I'm thinking of next year adding little appliques to them, like ghosts or candy corn.

Beautiful. I started crocheting Christmas chains for a relative with little ones and gave it someone else to finish off.

 

I was going to leave a comment, but it wouldn't let me. Try paste instead of staples for the little ones. We never stapled ours and they worked fine.
