I really don't "get" freeform crochet, but this I like. The open work gives the imagination room to play.

I really like your piece. Can you give some more details? Is this worked in thread over a small hoop? I like the definition of the stitches a lot.

I've done the crochet over the hoop thing with a picture collage and one color of yarn...but you made a picture of yarn in the hoop.
