What to do with County Fair Projects....

After the fair. I usually give mine away. I made a beautiful doll dress set and got a First Prize, best of Show ribbon. I gave the set away to a little girl in my neighborhood.

 

A scarf I made for my niece will be given to her on Wednesday.

 

And some of the things will be donated to charities.

 

What do you do with your projects after the fair?

haven't entered anything in fair yet, but sounds about like what will happen with anything I take to fair this year (I will, I will, I will...)

I also haven't ever entered anything in any fairs but it would depend on what I made as to what I would do with it. I would make something with a destination in mind already.

My Moorish Mosaic afghan goes back on the couch! LOL! The mittens, scarfs and socks will be worn by me this winter. The baby afghans go in my gift stash for future babies. Some of the other items will be donated to the auction hall I work for. At Christmas time the workers donate items to be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to our local Hospice office.

Most of the things I make go as gifts. Some things are made just for me, like my fancy doll outfit. And I always give a few things to a local auction for charity. The remainder gets stock piled until someone needs them.
