looking for certain colours.......

for an afghan for a friend who wants specific colours. I looked at some yarns, and they always seem short of one of the colours.

 

So, I am looking for a light aqua, a tangerine, a goldy/yellow, and a light green/limey colour.

 

I was thinking of a worsted weight.

Do you want to know a brand/color that matches what you are looking for or are you looking to buy the yarn from a Crochetville member? If you are just looking for brand and color suggestions, I can help a bit. I think I Love this Yarn is a great selection for worsted weight in an afghan. It is fairly soft and inexpensive. They have colors to match all of your choices. Another option would be the new Red Heart Soft yarn -- it is MUCH nicer than the original RHSS but the colors are limited everywhere I have seen it. I think ordering online is an excellent option for afghan purchases, especially if you have seen the yarn you want in the store and they were just short some of the colors in the quantities you needed.

Hobby Lobby's I Love this Yarn has: Turquoise, Orange or Burnt Pumpkin, Banana, and Pistache that would sort of match your choices -- although I wasn't too sure Tangerine was represented in their colors.

depending on the pattern, you could probably use more than one brand of yarn if you need to, as long as the weight is similar.
