While looking for something else, I came across this website http://fashion.rhymeandreasoncreative.com/

It is clothing that incorporates light, and there is crochet in several of the pieces. When you mouse over the pics in the second row, they light up. if you click on those pics, they enlarge and you get some different views.

 

I think these are really beautiful, esp. as it is getting dark so early now. On a cold winter night, wouldn't it be neat to wear a crocheted scarf that lights up?

:)Thanks for sharing, magiccrochet! They really are unique! I'm not so sure the lights would stand up that well with those little wires. Sometimes wires get loose and then they just don't work:eek. I would hope that for the amount of money these items are priced at, that they wouldn't break.

 

They are very beautiful, though, and it would be interesting to incorporate into actual crocheted pieces. That would be fun!

Just think about the applications! You could have multi colored LEDs and a sound sensor, so your scarf or sweater changed colors depending on the music you were listening too.
