PDF files...

couldn't find the proper place to put this...but since this is for sharing our patterns and some prefer pdf...I found ACROBAT PDF which offers a free account where you can change your files into pdf. It's really easy to use. I just changed my bookmark patterns and it was so fast! This way, when you send a file to someone, they cannot change the info in it, thus keeping your copyright safe.

I've used cutepdf (didn't care for it too much) and I do use primopdf. What's nice about primo is that the free version is for personal use and the paid version is for business use.

 

(I did check it out. It's an adobe product. I find most of them to be bloated and slow. Sorry)

If you use Microsoft Office 2007 or later they have a free plugin that will save just about any office doc as .pdf. You can get it here.

Thanks Kathy! I did download the primo and really like it! It is much faster and easier and I don't have to be online to do it as I do with the adobe one.

There is also doPDF - that's the one I use to 'print' all my files to PDF format (and it's free!).
