snowflake stitch afghan

Did anyone translate the snowflake stitch afghan pattern that was in Italian? I know someone found a youtube stitch that was similar.

Teresa gives the multiples so you could develop a pattern from that.

I played around with the video tutorial by Teresa for the Galaxy stitch and after some practice came to the conclusion this stitch definitely needs practice in order for me to make the stitch look like stars.

Also, when pulling the stitch through each "eye", if it is pulled a little longer than a normal stitch, it shows more of a "star" definition on the completed stitch.

I do believe there is a stitch called the star stitch. I believe I saw it in the crochet stitch bible (I'll have to double check that). I made a dishcloth with that pattern. I wonder if it is the one and same stitch pattern
