Sturdiest Yarn?

depends on what you are trying to make..

Nope. Just the strongest yarn you've ever used or heard of. Doesn't matter what it's used for, it'll probably be dug up by an alien culture when the earth has gone boom and a bit of it slams into their planet 'cause it's just that dang sturdy.

Being a natural fiber freak - I would say the strongest natural fiber is hemp (yarnforward.com has a wonderful 50/50 cotton/hemp that is quite strong).

Otherwise, I would tend to think nylon cording???

I would bet that anything synthetic, because it won't degrade at all... centuries from now, archaeologists will find toilet paper covers made from Red Heart Super Saver. LOL!

:rofl They'll think that those were hats, and we all had small heads.

After all, people with a relatively large brain wouldn't have destroyed their own planet or gone to war or something, riiiight? :ohdear They'd have the computing power to know better. :P

:::planting tongue firmly in cheek::::

And of course, it will only be crochet that will survive, because we only use Red Heart to crochet USEFUL things, right? All those natural fiber sweaters (the millions of them) will be burned up.

Can you imagine what an archeologist would think if he found your yarn stash?
