Question
jenuine226
Ok, I am making a "Jessica Simpson shawl" look-alike for my best friend's bday present. The problem is, even though I think she would LOVE a nice shawl, she is ... erm, *rough* on her clothes. I am afraid she will give up on wearing the shawl because she doesn't have the patience to drape it over her arms or tie it on. (She is a very active person when talking ... lots of hand gestures. ) Any suggestions to get the shawl to stay on without a lot of fuss?
I am thinking:
1.) some sort of button closure
2.) a shawl pin (she loses things a lot, though, and I am sure a shawl pin would get lost quite quickly)
Anyone have any solutions/suggestions?
