Home from DC area! (No more yarn help needed)

Help! I crocheted like crazy on the trip here and used up the 2 skeins I brought with me. I have 5+ hours in the air and airports tomorrow and need more yarn. I'm kind of stuck at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor. Does anyone know of a place reasonably close that would have Simply Soft? I simply need 1 skein of Simply Soft Off White.

 

Any ideas or will I be forced to read the airplane magazine and hope I get a fresh one that hasn't had the Sudoku and Crossword worked already? Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi! You're my only hope!

Call the Front Desk! Tell them it's a yarn emergency! LOL! There's go to be a Wal-Mart or something somewhere!

Yeah, you would think so, but I guess I'm in a no-Walmart zone. This place has a separate Concierge desk....

where exactly in the dc area are you?

I'm at National Harbor. It's on the potomac, just south of 495. I can see the 495 bridge from here. Are you close? Were you considering dropping some yarn off?

There's a phone book but I'm not really sure where things are. There are 2 walmarts 6+ miles away in different directions. A taxi would cost $30 at least...my wife would kill me if I spent that much for a $2.99 skein of yarn just so I can scratch my crochet itch. I might try the concierge though.

no...i was going to try my gps...i'm actually in Oregon right at the moment...and when i did live in the dc area we Hardly ever went inside the beltway!! what about taking a bus?
