Favourite Ribbon Yarn?

What is your favourite ribbon yarn in price vs. quality, in variety of colors and in ease of working?

 

I'm looking for a moderately inexpensive ($4-$7/ball) ribbon yarn that comes in varegated colors - preferably jewel tones like stained glass, but I'm also curious about your favourites!

I used the Lion Brand and it worked well. I didn't have any complaints since I used a coupon and got it pretty cheap (doubt I would have paid full price, though).

 

I've also used Trendsetter Segue - it is awesome, but pretty pricey. It was $22/sk at my LYS (I got it during a 40%off sale).

i really like the lion brands trellis ribbon thread, also i think it is bernat has one that is awesome, i think it is called matrix or something like that. those 2 i have used and really liked, i think i would have a heart attack if my thread came to 20+ for one skein. i am so not rich here:lol :lol anyways those are my 2 favorites. :blush
