I grew up with the Jessie Abularach books, I loved the projects in them, fun and cute and not to difficult :)

 

I odered 7 of her books today from Amazon.com I can't wait till they arrive in the mail :cheer

 

I also ordered

 

"50 Crocheted Afghan Borders (Leisure Arts #4382)"

and

"50 More Crocheted Afghan Borders (Leisure Arts #4531)"

 

 

I am so excited, I have been wanting to get all of these books :manyheart

That is so good you found her books they are great. My mom had a whole set of her books and told me they would be mine someday little did I know they are now. It is my most treasure set of crochet books.

I loved the tube potholders...I mad tons of those

 

I hope to pass them down to my daughter, I want to teach her how to crochet...

They sure will be treasured as these books are very few in between left. I love the idea passing them to your daughter. Teaching her to crochet should be treasured time for both together.

How neat!! I wish I would have known then what I know now about Jessie Abularch's crochet books....I would have bought more of them. I was in my early 20's when I bought these two books and really wasn't into crocheting day and night and in between like now!! :hook:lol

Jessie Abularch also has shawl pattern books i want, I will have to wait for those ones

 

I wish they would reprint the books for more crocheters can enjoy them too
