Crocheting A Handle to A Bag

Recommended Posts

Ok I need some ideas on how to make a handle for a bag I'm not sure how to go about it and I thought my dear friends here would know how to make a handle since I'm not sure how much to chain to make a handle or how to go about it

One way that I like to make handles is with i-cord. What that is, essentially, is a long, flat tube. You crochet a few chains--say 8 or 10--, close them into a circle, and begin single crocheting in back loops only around and around, without joining.

This will stretch, but only so far, and the tube will flatten like a handle.

I like i-cord. It makes an awesome felted handle, too.
