this isn't the first time that has happened.

i believe their search has crochet hook as one of the key words/terms and this knitting pattern uses a crochet hook [i think for the edging] just like the other times a knitting pattern has popped up for their daily pattern.

i think it is also a mixed crochet/knitting blog.

The Daily Crocheter is an outgrowth of The Daily Knitter. it's primary focus started with knit so I am not surprised that you get some crossover. It (TDK) has been one of my fave places to look at "What's new" in knitting patterns so I forgive them much
