Peace Fleece Bag

Here's a tote I just finished. I was going to enter it into our county fair next week, but now I'm not loving it as much as when it was in my head. We'll see.

Anyway, here it is pre-felting

and after

No pattern, just made it up as I went along. Crocheted it in the rectangle, all HDC with spike stitches. I have a ginormous box of Grape Nuts in there to block it. It definitely shrunk more width-wise than in hight.

I really loved the yarn http://www.peacefleece.com/

It took 2 full skeins of the dark blue, a little over half a skein of the light blue and only a little bit of the yellow. Because of the mohair, it's *really* furry. I have enough yarn left over to do some kind of small project, have to decide what.

Thanks ladies!

Tari, I have a front loader & have felted several items. You can't check on it as easily as a top loader, but it does work. It's pretty tough to ruin a project. You can also do it by hand in the sink/bathtub using a plunger (a new one....)
