Kitchen Scrubbie

I wanted to share my scrubbie I crocheted from Rachel's scrubbie pattern that she posted over in the original pattern links section here at the 'ville. I added some recycled plastic lettuce netting to rounds 2-5 on the bottom only to give it some extra scrubbing power.

Here is her free pattern for the scrubbie. I did join my two round disks with SC sts around so that's why it may look a bit different. I used Sugar 'n Creme Country Stripes cotton yarn.

Thank you for your kind comments. It's those green plastic sleeves that lettuce and other produce comes in. I've used it to make scrubbies and other stuff. Here is a link to my tutorial on how to cut and crochet with it.
