At last, a Scrubbie

I just made one out of plastic canvas yarn. It works like a real scrubbie.

Congrats, it looks great! I have been wanting to try the pattern too but I am hesitant to. Did you get any good tips that helped you?

 

One tip that really helped me was . . when you when you pull your ends together, be sure the "hole" is on top and in the center. That helps to give it the round shape.

Very nice! I had an awful time figuring out how to make them too. Everyone made it seem so simple! I finally got it but I never made anymore. Yours is pretty!

Way to go, you stuck it out! These are so great, I can't keep them made fast enough. People want more as soon as they try them. I always use them to wash the dishes and have a dish cloth for the table and counters. They work great in the shower. Just enough to scrub your skin but still be gentle. They work well to clean windows too. And don't forget the tip I learned. After you wash the dishes, rinse it out and put it in the microwave for one minute and you will not have a smelly cloth.

 

I have not bought a dish cloth in years and know they have saved me more money since I buy less paper towels too. Now that is what I call "green".
