Question

Hi. I can't figure out what "ch-number" means. Could someone please let me know? I have passed on patterns I liked because I'm a ninny and couldn't figure it out. Thanks!

Let me rephrase that....in the pattern that I would like to do, it says ch-3. I just don't understand what to do. Thanks.

Depending on how it's written it either means for you to chain 3 or to work into a chain 3 from the previous row or round.

If it says dc in ch-3 sp...than you will do a double crochet into the chain 3 space in the previous row...
