Silver sock class question

Has anyone here done the Silver Sock online tutorial for making socks? I plan to give this a try since I REALLY want to make my own socks.

 

My question: what size of dpn is she wanting us to use?? US or mm??

On this page, she says to gives recommendations for the double points. I read those as US sizes since the US system matches the number/yarn size given. Good luck. I've never just followed her tutorial but I do have it printed it out and studied it along with some other books and materials before making my lifetime sock output of three socks. (Need to finish the second pair.)

I think that the sizes she gives is in US size, not mm.

She uses US sizing. She want you to use the size needle that your yarn calls for..
